On the occasion of Ambassador Day, Impactscool presented to its Community the news of 2020 among which the Future Camps stand out

It has always been one of the highlights for the Impactscool community, but the Ambassador Day that took place at the end of October 2019 was particularly significant and full of ideas. It was, in fact, an important opportunity for meeting and comparison, as usual, but also the time to update the community on the new projects of 2020: among these, the Future Camps, the Impactscool summer schools that will be inaugurated at June.

Future Camps are the new Impactscool summer schools. An intensive training course, lasting 5 days, dedicated to technology, innovation, and sustainability. The aim of the course, which condenses the experience gained by Impactscool in its first three years of life, is to offer young people the tools to be protagonists of their tomorrow, thanks to a multidisciplinary approach able to provide knowledge and encourage the development of transversal skills, thanks to the interventions of teachers and professionals from different sectors. The course will teach children how to become future makers able to foresee and solve the great global problems of today and tomorrow, face the challenges of new technologies, combat climate change and imagine and plan the jobs and society of the future. Future Camps, reserved for students aged 16 to 22, will start in 6 Italian cities: Milan, Rome, Padua, Bologna, Turin and Florence. Furthermore, there will also be an international stop in London with a week of lessons and activities entirely in English. Scholarships are foreseen, which will be awarded through a competition, which will cover, depending on the case, a part or the entire registration fee.

For more information on Future Camps, the program, dates and costs, please consult the dedicated section on the Impactscool website:

“Impactscool is a community, – says Cristina Pozzi – a movement of people of all ages who espouse an important mission and decide to put their energy and free time at their disposal. These are days of exchange for us, to be together and celebrate the great results that we have achieved every day for almost 3 years”.

” The deep meaning of Impactscool – continues Andrea Dusi – is what we breathe here today. Working together for the best possible future. And to do this we need everyone’s help”.

Good practices and exceptional speakers. The Ambassador Day was also an opportunity to share good practices internally in the community through the testimonies of some Ambassadors, who stood out for their commitment and spirit of initiative. In particular, Luca Tiraboschi intervened, explaining how it is possible to talk about technologies and the future also with very different targets, Petru Capatina, who told how the meeting with Impactscool inspired his entrepreneurial activities and Nicholas Chilese, who explained what prompted him to establish the Impactscool Future Hub in Vicenza recently inaugurated with the first event. Finally, the Impactscool Ambassadors were also inspired by some external testimonies: exceptional speaker of the event were the television journalist of Le Iene Alessandro Politi, Diletta Milani, who deals with AI open innovation to ENI, Giuseppe Vironda, Chief Operator Officer of Credimi.it and Raffaele Mauro, Managing Director of Endeavor Italy.

The next appointment for the Community will be the training for Future Activist, scheduled for December.
