Skyscrapers made of super resistant wood could be the future of housing

America’s next generation of skyscrapers could be made from wood. And that’s welcome news for the environment. The first “plyscraper” (high rise buildings constructed from cross-laminated timber) will be completed in Portland, Oregon in 2018. The material is incredibly strong and environmentally friendly.
