Los Angeles is painting streets white to offset climate change

In a plan to lower the city’s temperature by 3 degrees over the next 20 years, Los Angeles is coating its roads in a white paint called CoolSeal, which causes them to absorb less heat. It’s the latest step the city has taken to combat the effects of climate change alongside the state’s plans.
