The Coronavirus emergency is still ongoing but we have chosen to tell you positive stories, to look to the future with hope
We live in an unprecedented period of our lives. We know that there can be light at the end of the tunnel but it is good to remember that that light is there. That’s why we decided to tell you the good news about Coronavirus from all over the world, to look to the future with hope.
- For two days in Wuhan, China, the city where the Coronavirus infection started, there have been no new infections. In addition, there are no new cases of internal virus transmission in the past 24 hours. The new infections, if they counted 189, have all been imported from other countries. It appears that China has managed to overcome the peak of the epidemic.
- In Cremona, the field hospital set up by an American NGO, Samaritan’s Purse, has 60 new beds and 8 intensive care units. Sixty also operators, including doctors, nurses and technicians who will be employed in the emergency facility in coordination with the Cremona hospital.
- An Italian discovery doubles the ICU seats. The prototype of a new type of fan developed by the Mirandola Intersurgical company is already functional and allows two people to be connected simultaneously, effectively doubling the places in intensive care.
