After the summer break, Impactscool team starts again with its events throughout Italy and beyond. Find out where you can find us in the next days.
Right after the first days of school, the tour of #Futura, the traveling event designed by Miur, the Italian Ministrty od Education, to present the National Plan for the Digital School, starts again. The next stop will be in Bergamo, from 17 to 19 September, and this time will have as its central theme “#Up&Down”: training initiatives, debates on innovation, experiences, workshops, shows on the Digital School and hackathons, including the Civic Hack, the first civic hackathon of the schools of the Province of Bergamo entirely dedicated to the challenges of the territory. Impactscool too will be present and, in particular, our team is going to attend the next #woMEST event, the national call to STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) for girls and women.
We will talk about failures, instead, on September 19 at the literary festival Pordenone Legge: Andrea Dusi, President of Impactscool, will present his book “Come far fallire una startup ed essere felici” (How to make a startup fail and be happy), in dialogue with Giuseppe Ragogna during the event dedicated to “Youth and (new) jobs”. The carefree story of the startup world that has made Silicon Valley the new Eden in the common imaginary, often forgets the fact that nine out of ten startups fail in the first three years of activity. And then the failures, the errors, the unforeseen become the tiles on which the success is built.
The Impactscool team is going to a real “Journey into the future”, on September 20 at the Tenuta Artimino at Villa Ferdinando in Artimino (Prato) at 6PM. In collaboration with the company Audionova, we will debate about the impacts that exponential technologies are having on our society: knowing their potential and learning how to use them can be an extraordinary resource to drive change, rather than having to undergo or try to resist. In addition to Cristina Pozzi, CEO of Impactscool, and Andrea Geremicca, CMO, Paolo Benanti, Franciscan of the Third Order Regular and professor of moral and bioethical theology, and Pasquale Fedele, founder and CEO of Liquidweb, a startup operating in the field of computer engineering with which he developed the BrainControl device, for the control through the “thought” of assistive technologies, will be among the speakers. The event is reserved.
On September 23, Impactscool will take part in its first workshop designed for kids: “Let’s play with the future” is the name of the event to which boys and girls aged 10 to 13 are invited. It will be a challenge to imagine the great changes that await us, but also an incentive to plan together the tomorrow, thanks to exercises and techniques of future thinking. The workshop, which will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.30 AM at the ex Nani Garden in via XX Settembre in Verona, is organized within the Kidsuniversity event, designed by the University of Verona to bring the young to the world of university and research.
