Cinema and virtual reality, technology is not enough

Virtual reality, the new frontier of cinema and TV “the volume written by Simone Arcagni, professor at the University of Palermo and scholar of cinema and new media, presented during the 77th edition of the Venice Film Festival. The book, published by Palermo University Press and also produced with the collaboration of the Rai Studies Office, was designed to photograph the evolution of virtual reality under different aspects, to reflect on the future of this technology in the world of entertainment and, in particular , opportunities and limits of its use in cinema and television.
