Thanks to a network of key actors from all over the world, Hello Tomorrow is on a mission to empower researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs from the deep tech sector - bringing world-changing technology to commercial scale.
If you are looking for the best deep technologies ideas in the world, look no further. Hello Tomorrow, based in Paris but with a worldwide attitude, is the global organization that wants to challenge the key actors in this sector to solve some of the world’s toughest issues.
Hello Tomorrow supports the most promising early-stage deep tech projects and startups, building connections and collaborations between entrepreneurs, industry leaders and investor, thanks to a grassroots deep tech innovation network worldwide: The aim is to bring innovation from laboratories directly to the market. Even though it started just a few years ago, Hello Tomorrow is already making a name of itself as a reference platform in the deep tech space.
Every year, the organization proposes the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge – one of the biggest science and technology startup competition in the world. The first edition of the Challenge was held in 2013, after the two founders, Xavier Duportet and Arnaud De La Tour, at the time both PhD students, realized that the resources needed to propel emerging technologies were different from those of traditional web and mobile innovations.
Since then the competition grew, and now it welcomes thousands of ideas from all over the world: scientists and deep tech entrepreneurs have the chance to win very generous prizes, as well as to earn a global platform for their research and projects, getting visibility and connections with key players in the deep tech innovation network in the process.
The Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge offers 12 different tracks: the competitors can choose between Aeronautics, Data & Ai, Digital Health, Energy, Food, Agriculture & Environment, Global Health, Industrial Biotech, Industry 4.0, New Materials, New Mobility, New Space and Wellbeing. 70 finalists will be selected to pitch their ideas at the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in Paris, that will be held on March 14th and 15th, 2019.
The Challenge is also one of the most lucrative contests in Europe for tech startups: thanks to the many sponsors of the event, a €15K prize for the best startup in each track and a €100k grand prize for the best one overall, equity-free and no string attached, are offered. But not just funding: the finalists will also gain visibility and connections, thanks to support and interaction with top-level executives and selected investors from the industry.
Hello Tomorrow pays attention to different areas of the globe and is making an effort to boost local ecosystems. To reach and support Asian, African and South American deep tech ecosystems, thanks to 11 local Hubs around the globe, over 50 curators and more than 500 partners, local finals and other events are held in Africa, Japan, Southeast Asia and Turkey: To solve the most pressing challenges of the world, everyone’s efforts are needed!
The community of deep tech innovators around the world is constantly growing and Hello Tomorrow is ready to support and empower them to help them find the answers to the toughest questions.
