Next week’s events by Impactscool – 30th September to 6th October

28 September 2018 | Written by La redazione

Like it does every week, Impactscool’s team will be involved in several events all across Italy and beyond. Find out where you can find us.

An “upside-down” future is what the organizers imagined for #Futura in Rapallo, the traveling event designed by the Italian Ministry of Education to present the National Plan for the Digital School. From 30th September to 2nd October, the city will host conferences, workshops, events related to the world of the school and its future: the theme declined in this stage of #Futura will be exactly “The upside-down future” and will be divided into educational workshops, projections, “technological showcases”, music and digital art. During the three days of the event there will also be a Civic Hack, a real project marathon during which students from the secondary schools of the Liguria Region, with the help of mentors, experts and researchers, will work together with the goal of helping to design innovative solutions to overcome the fragility of the territories, trying to “overthrow” the relationships and creating new sustainability connections. Impactscool, on the other hand, will propose a new stage of #woMEST, the event designed to bring an increasing number of girls closer to the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

We will present the same format in the next stage of #Futura, that will be held from 3rd to 5th October in the city of Avellino: this time the main theme will be “Terr@dimezzo”, meaning “middle earth”, an opportunity to talk about the digital school and its good practices in an innovative wat, always through workshops, conferences and workshops.

On 3rd October from 11.00 am, the president of Impactscool Andrea Dusi will be the guest of a class with the PhD students EIT Digital of the Doctoral Training Center of Trento. In particular, Dusi will be the protagonist of a focus on successful Italian startups and will tell participants about his personal experiences.

There will also be an opportunity to talk about failures on 4th October at the Impact Hub Event Space in Florence, for the 12th chapter of the “Fuckup Nights event: born in 2012 from a global movement started by Mexico City, this format wants to highlight the stories of failed businesses and projects, to tell and celebrate them, but also to find an antidote. Andrea Dusi will be on stage, from 7.30 PM to 9.30 PM, to talk about his failures with the Florentine public.

Finally, Andrea Geremicca, CMO and Co-Founder of Impactscool, will be among the speakers of TEDxCittàdiSanMarino on October 6th. The theme of the event will be “Free to be great”: dreaming beyond your limits, thinking of the future without the fear of daring, believing in the beauty of your ideas – from the simplest to the most impossible one – giving yourself everything to realize them. The event will take place from 2.00 PM to 7.00 PM in the Kursaal Congress Palace of the City of San Marino.
